Are you ready for Host with the Most?

Better-Than-Almost-Anything Cake

Whether you are going to a Christmas Party this year or having Christmas dinner at your house, this is a yummy dessert idea. My mother-in-law, Linda made this cake and we all just fell in love with it! Thanks Linda!

Here is what you need to have on hand plus some flour and Pam or shortening to grease your pan.

Heat oven to 350 degrees and bake cake as directed on box for a 13x9 inch pan. I sprayed my pan with Pam.

Poured 4 tablespoons of flour onto the pan.

Shook the pan around and emptied any remaining flour in the trash.

I poured the cake mix in a large mixing bowl.

Poured the water and the oil into the mix.

Added the eggs.

Blended ingredients with a mixer.

Poured mixture into 13x9 inch pan and baked.

Once your cake comes out of the oven, poke top of the warm cake every 1/2 inch with a circular end of a wooden spoon. My handle was not circular but that's okay, it was still delicious!

Drizzle 1 can (14 oz.) of sweetened condensed mild evenly over top of the cake; let stand until milk has been absorbed into cake.

Next drizzle with caramel topping.

Run a knife around sides of the pan to loosen cake. Cover and refrigerate about 2 hours or until chilled.

Spread whipped topping over top of the cake. Sprinkle with toffee chips.

Store covered in refrigerator. That is, if there is any left!

Now it's your turn! Go ahead Host with the Most!
