Look who is lighting the way

Merry Christmas everyone! I am very excited to share that Cypress Chique's Candy Land was featured at the Holiday Hookup on Kraft kat's blog! Thank you very much Krafty Kat!

I am going to show you how to turn your entry table into a warm holiday welcome! Here is a before look....

I thought it would be a good idea to show the before and after. No, the Grinch didn't steal Christmas. He doesn't live here either, although at the moment it does look like it. We will fix that!

I took this bowl I bought a long time ago from Southern Living and flipped it over onto the table.

Then, I took this table runner that I have had for years, probably got it at TJ Maxx or Target and scrunched it up on top of the the bowl and table.

Next, I fluffed my wreath and layed it on top of the upside down bowl.

Now, if you are going to do this project you need a great piece that you want to highlight. Mine is this reinder that I bought from The Great Indoor, about 10 years ago!! He lights up and I just love him.

Ok, I like to play around with things, move them around until I am happy with them. So, I moved him in different spots on the entry table...this is not the last place you will see him.

I took these ornaments and placed them in the middle of the wreath, under the reindeer. They all say, "Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas". I also bought these at The Great Indoor, years ago. In the past I have used shiny red ornaments too. Any round ornaments would work best.

I added the Candlesticks to dress it up. Here is Rudolph's final resting place.

Wednesday I will start a Linky Party! It will be called, "Holiday Host". I will put different recipes for entertaining like meals, appetizers or desserts, even cocktails! I would also love to see Christmas Party Entertaining ideas! Things that you would serve during the holidays etc. I would love for you to link in and share your Holiday Host Recipes and Entertaining ideas with us!
