Super Bowl Sandwiches

Pulled pork sandwiches, great for serving a large crowd. (Recipe at the end of the post)

What you need: Pork tenderloin, salt, pepper and/or your favorite rub or seasoning, bbq sauce, buns and slow cooker.

Place your pork to be rubbed on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper.

Rub in seasoning all over the pork.

When you are finished rubbing in seasoning, place meat in the slow cooker.

Pour in water, enough to cover pork.

Cover with lid and cook for 6 hours on LOW.

After 6 hours drain the meat.

Pull pork apart and shred with 2 forks.

Pour bbq sauce over meat. I had a big tenderloin so I used a half of a large bottle of sauce. We like a lot of sauce.

Stir well.

After you have stirred in your sauce, cover and cook on LOW for another hour.

Pulled Pork Recipe:
Season pork tenderloin with salt and pepper and/or with your favorite seasoning. Cook it in slow cooker on LOW with enough liquid to cover the meat for approximately 6 hours. Drain the meat, shred it, and return it to the slow cooker with your favorite bbq sauce for another hour. (makes about 8-10 sandwiches)
